How to Find Us
Helperby is in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, about five miles west of Easingwold.
Set on the cross roads of historic Helperby and Brafferton, to the untrained eye, you would most certainly be forgiven for thinking them one village. The Oak Tree Inn is easily accessible from the A1 and A19, less than 30 minutes from York City Centre or 35 minutes from Harrogate.
From York - A19, direction Thirsk. A little after Easingwold turn off left to Helperby and continue to follow signs. On arrival into the village you will have the Oak Tree in front of you (the Brafferton end of the village).
Nearest airports are Teesside or Leeds. We are approximately 90 minutes from Manchester. The nearest mainline railway station is York, (however some trains do stop at Thirsk and this is closer).
